Noted author Pat Mora will speak on Bookjoy! Alegria en los Libros!, the 2016 Arbuthnot Lecture,  Mora will be available for a booksigning after the event. The event is suitable for all adult audiences, including college students.

The 2016 May Hill Arbuthnot Lecture Award is an honor awarded by the Association of Library Service to Children, a division of the American Library Association. The award winner, selected by committee, represents the finest in children's literature and provides a forum for "new voices speaking with new insight and new emphasis in the field of children's lectures."
