REFORMA Los Angeles Executive Board Nominations - open until May 15. Seeking nominations for vice president/president elect; secretary; treasurer; and public information officer.

Help us bring another exciting and effective year to REFORMA Los Angeles Chapter service by nominating yourself or others to be on the Chapter Board. Current MLIS students are eligible for nomination and all members are encouraged to self nominate!

The Los Angeles Chapter of REFORMA is excited to host NRC VIII in Long Beach, CA, under the theme “Moving Forward Together: Empowering the Latino Community.”

You do not have to be a member of REFORMA to register for the conference (but members get a better price!). Library workers at all levels and community organizations serving Latinos and Spanish-speaking populations are encouraged to register. Take advantage of our early bird pricing before it increases on Sunday, June 1!

We are the Los Angeles Chapter of REFORMA, the National Association to Promote Library and Information Services to Latinos and the Spanish Speaking. Nationally, REFORMA is committed to the improvement of the full spectrum of library and information services for the more than 40 million Spanish-speaking and Latino people in the U.S.

REFORMA is a non-profit organization incorporated under the laws of the District of Columbia and is classified as a 501(c)3 organization by the Internal Revenue Code. New members of all backgrounds and communities are always welcome.
